Restore peace in Libya soon, President requests Gaddafi

The Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi had called President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the President requested the Libyan leader to establish peace in the country as soon as possible, Director General of President’s Media Bandula Jayasekara told Ada Derana.


President Rajapaksa asked the Libyan leader to safeguard the lives of the people of Libya, Bandula Jayasekara added.
