Grade three student drowns in swimming pool

A Grade three student of a private school in Polgolla, Kandy has drowned in a school swimming pool, Ada Derana Correspondent confirms. It is reported that the boy had gone for a swimming meet at another school in the same area where the accident took place.

 

It is reported that the student had drowned after slipping and falling into the pool. The body is being kept at the Katugasthota hospital.
