March 10, 2011   01:30 pm

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) is taking steps to use satellite technology to monitor its entire fuel transportation system preventing bowser drivers from straying from their routes, the Ministry of Petroleum Resources stated.

The technology will help the authorities track the activity of these bowsers from the time it loads the fuel from the Sapugaskanda and Muthurajawela terminals until they reach the delivery points.
