Ponting elects to bat against India

Australian Captain Ricky Ponting won the toss and elected to bat against India ahead of their World Cup quarter final match scheduled to begin in a short while at Ahmedebad. David Hussey will be playing instead of Steven Smith while the Indians have brought Virender Sehwag ahead of Yusuf Pathan.
