Dell Partners with Samson IT in Sri Lanka

Samson IT to distribute Dell’s products and solutions to local consumers and commercial entities  


Dell recently announced the addition of Samson Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd (Samson IT) to the list of Dell partners in Sri Lanka. Samson IT, which is a member of the reputed DSI Samson Group, will now distribute Dell’s suite of commercial, consumer and enterprise products and solutions.


This partnership marks the first time that Samson IT has been appointed as a distributor for a global ICT brand such as Dell. As an authorized distributor, Samson IT will expand its product portfolio to include Dell’s commercial Vostro, Optiplex and Precision desktops and workstations, and Vostro and Latitude notebooks, the Inspiron and Studio consumer series, as well as PowerEdge servers and storage solutions. Dell and Samson IT will work together to provide customers with added benefits such as faster delivery and professional after-sales support.

Established in Sri Lanka since 2005, Samson IT supplies hardware and network solutions to the consumer and commercial segments and also maintains backup systems. The company is currently reviewing the possibility of providing software solutions to domestic and international markets.
