Fish at low prices for festive season

The Sri Lanka Fisheries Corporation has taken steps to provide the public with fish at low rates for the festive season. According to the Chairman of the corporation, Mahil P. Senaratne the public will be provided with this opportunity until April 13.


Therefore the Fisheries Corporation is already prepared to sell fish such as Sailfish (Thalapath) and Skipjack Tuna (Balaya) at low prices between Rs. 20-25, he stated.


All shops under the corporation have been advised to remain open till noon until April 13 for the New Year season, Mr. Senaratne further added.
