One killed in Batti due to wild elephant attack

A house in the Kokadicholai area in Batticaloa came under attack by a wild elephant today (20).It is reported that as a result of the attack the owner of the house has also been killed.

 

The youth who had sought temporary residence at a nearby house due to threats from wild elephants had ventured into his garden after having seen an elephant entering it and as a result been attacked and killed.

 

It is reported that the house was severely damaged due to the elephant attack.
