
Despite President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s popularity on the recent online poll conducted by Time Magazine on the 100 Most Influential People, the Editors of the magazine have omitted President Rajapaksa from the final list.
The President was ranked fourth on the online poll which saw him as the most influential political leader on the list. However, he along with others in the top ten didn’t make it into the final list of 100 chosen by the Editors.
Internet activist, Wael Ghonim was selected as the most influential person for his involvement in the revolution in the Middle East.
