Govt-TNA to meet today for fifth round of talks

The Government and the Tamil National Alliance are scheduled to meet today (April 28) for the 5th round of discussions regarding the finding of a political solution for the problems faced by the Tamil community in the aftermath of the ethnic conflict which ended in May 2009.

 

Senior Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake, Ministers Prof. G.L.Peiris, Nimal Siripala De Silva and Parliamentarian Sajin Vass Gunawardena will represent the Government while Parliamentarian M.A.Sumanthiran, Mavai Senathirajah and Suresh Premachandran will represent the TNA at today’s meeting.
