Ramsey goal dents United’s title charge

An Aaron Ramsey goal was enough to see Arsenal take all three points against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium a short while ago. The loss severely dampens United’s record 19thtitle bid as they face second placed Chelsea at Old Trafford next week with a slender three point lead.
Arsenal dominated the first half having the lion’s share of possession but fashioning few clear cut chances. However, another controversial refereeing decision marred a great half for the Gunners when the referee waved away a penalty claim in which Nemanja Vidic clearly handled the ball.
The second half saw Arsenal start brightly with Ramsey scoring at the end of a neat move in the 56th minute.
Manchester United poured men forward in hope of an equalizer and should have been awarded a penalty of their own when Michael Owen was brought down in the box towards the end of the game.
However, the score line remained 1-0 to the Londoners and gives Chelsea a real chance of snatching the title from United right at the death.
