602 organizers of unhygienic dansal warned

The Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors’ Association says it has issued warnings to 602 organizers of dansal for preparing unhygienic food and drinks on Vesak Day. Inspections on dansal will be carried out today as well, Chairman of the Association, Upul Rohana stated.


He also requested that in the future the public should organize dansal, offering of food and drink to people around the country during Vesak, under the recommendations of the relevant Local Government and Public Health Inspectors (PHI) in order to avoid health risks.
