50-year-old shot dead by unknown gunmen

A person has been shot and killed in the Badagiriya area in Hambantota. Police state that two unidentified individuals had arrived on a motorbike and opened fire on the victim late last night.
The deceased is reported to be 50 years of age and a resident of Badagiriya.
Hambantota Police have commenced investigations in order to apprehend the gunmen.
