FTZ worker dies

The Free Trade Zone worker who was injured during the clash on Monday with police has succumbed to his injuries; Police said a short while ago. Roshan Chanaka(21) was admitted to the Ragama hospital and being treated at the ICU following the clash.
Earlier today IGP Mahinda Balasuriya tendered his retirement papers to the President after the Katunayaka incident and the backlash which followed.
