Dr. Hector Weerasinghe appointed as Consul General to LA

The Director of the Colombo National Hospital, Dr. Hector Weerasinghe was appointed as the Consul General to Los Angeles by President Mahinda Rajapaksa, the External Affairs Ministry announced.
Dr. Weerasinghe will keep his post at the National Hospital until June 17 after serving more than ten years as its Director.
