Investigations into death of cadet officer commence

Police have commenced an extensive investigation into the death of the commanding officer of the 13th National Cadet Corps, Lieutenant Colonel MDH Lenadora, who had passed away last night in the Manampitiya area in Dambulla.


He had been retuning from the passing out ceremony of the university students taking part in the leadership program.


Police had discovered several pieces of glass in the ground where the cadet officer, a father of one, was found.


The fact that Lieut. Col. Lenadora, arriving from the Rantambe camp, had passed his usual bus stop by almost 03Km has raised suspicion, police revealed.
