Chinese national arrested for illicit brewing

Police have arrested a Chinese national for brewing illicit liquor in the Pussellawa area. Acting on a tip-off police raided the location last night and seized a large quantity of illicit liquor and equipment used in brewing them.
The suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Gampola Magistrate’s court today (June 13).
