Suspected heroin dealer remanded

An individual arrested in the Diggala area in Panadura North for possession of 3g 280mg heroin was today (July 17) ordered to be placed in protective custody until tomorrow by the Panadura Magistrate’s Court.
The suspect, arrested in a raid carried out by the Panadura Police last night, had reportedly packed the stock of heroin into 180 packets.
