UNP presents PSC proposal to Speaker

The United National Party today (July 19) presented a proposal to the Speaker of Parliament requesting the appointing of two separate Parliament Select Committees to look into the controversial hedging deal and the import of substandard petrol.


The proposal, signed by several UNP Parliamentarians, was presented to Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa by the Chief Opposition Whip, John Amaratunga.
