VIDEO: Karu to be made party Leader; Sajith to be named Prez candidate?

UNP MP Sajith Premadasa will hold a special press conference today (July 28) regarding crucial steps to be taken to ensure the future of the party, unnamed sources told Ada Derana.
It is also claimed that MP Premadasa with the backing of several UNP MPs is to put himself forward as the next Presidential candidate for the UNP while sources also declared that meetings were held to discuss the possibility of appointing UNP Deputy Leader Karu Jayasuriya as the UNP Party Leader until the next Presidential Election where MP Sajith Premadasa will be announced as a candidate.
