Pedestrian killed in roadside accident

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on the Colombo-Kandy road in Kegalle, Police stated. The 45-year-old was rushed to hospital following the accident after which he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver was arrested and presented before the Kegalle Magistrate before being released on bail.
