Dissatisfied Mohan Lal to make a special statement today

Colombo District United National Party parliamentarian Mohan Lal Grero is to make a special statement today (Saturday) on a party decision regarding nominations to the Local Government bodies where elections are to be held on October 8.

Sources close to the popular private educational institution owner Mohan Lal Grero said that the issue with the party leadership was to do with nominations to a Local Government body in the suburbs of Colombo. They added that Mr. Grero had been disappointed with certain arbitrary decisions taken by the UNP leadership.
