Kotte MC candidate gets assaulted

A Kotte Municipal Council candidate representing an independent group was assaulted and claimed that UNP supporters were behind the attack.

 

Leader of an independent political group, Chandima Nayanajith claimed that he was severely assaulted by a gang while attending to his campaign work.

 

He stated that he had also made a complaint to the police regarding the incident while he sought treatment at the National Hospital Accident Ward.
