India to aid Lankan Tamil students

India has come forward to provide aid and support for Tamil students in Sri Lanka as its government has already taken measures to fund the higher education of 1000 Tamil students in the island, Indian Media reported.
It was also reported that the aid will go to students in the welfare camps while the beneficiaries will be chosen following oral and written exams.
