EDEX the national higher education and careers expo which is also the annual social responsibility program of the Royal College Union, launched an innovative program themed “Live your Dream” coinciding the EDEX Exhibition in 2012.

The program will bring to light ideas which would benefit youth and students all around Sri Lanka under six different categories, namely, Fulfilling requirements of your school environment to receive quality education, Promoting inventiveness and creativity, Soft/technical and Skills development, vocational training, green sciences and green energy, recycling or similar practices preventing depletion of resources and leading to sustainable living.

EDEX, Chairman, Kamal Abeysinghe commenting about the “Live your dream” initiative, “EDEX “Live your dream” provides the opportunity for the future of our country to dash out their own ideas and vision, which sometimes may not play an active role due to various reasons. Everything great starts with a dream, if you are a dreamer with a desire, inspired and energized to serve your community this is a great opportunity for youth in our country to make their dream come true. “Live your dream” bridges that gap enhancing knowledge sharing and idea generation by the youth, for their community and our country. I would like to request from all the corporates to join hands with us in making the dreams of our youth a reality”.
