UNP MP Mangala Samaraweera stated that although there is a dictatorship in place within the country, Sri Lanka cannot be allowed to become like Libya.

MP Samaraweera stated this at a press conference held today (September 28) in Colombo while speaking about the plan to make Colombo a part of an overall municipal authority inclusive of five other municipalities.

He added that the government has no plan regarding the development of the city of Colombo while further stating that he will challenge the government to make a statement regarding the development work they have done for Colombo in the last five years.
