The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has been called to conduct a full inquiry over the death of a suspect in police custody, Inspector General of Police (IGP) N.K. Illangakoon told Ada Derana.
He also added that once the tense situation in Dompe in quelled, a full inquiry will also be held regarding those who took the law into their own hands by attacking the Dompe police station.
