Results of 2011 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination will be released tomorrow (Dec. 25), the Department of Examinations said. Commissioner General of Examinations Anura Edirisinghe stated that steps will be taken to release the results online tomorrow morning.
The principals of schools within Colombo and Sri Jayawardenapura education zones will be able to receive the results from the examinations department while result lists of other zones will be mailed within tomorrow, he said.
President Rajapaksa upon being informed that the experts committee would take several days to decide on the A/L ‘Z-scores’ had summoned them for a special discussion.
As a result of this the committee of experts had provided the necessary information today and therefore it was made able to release the results tomorrow, the Commissioner General stated.
