Lankan maid attacked with kitchen knife

An Ethiopian housemaid in Kuwait went amok and attacked another maid with a kitchen knife before trying to kill her female employer and her children.
The maid was outraged when a Sri Lankan maid at the same house refused to let her sleep in her room and asked her to find somewhere else.
“She rushed to the kitchen and brought a knife…she jumped on the Sri Lankan maid and tried to stab her,” Alwatan daily said.
“When the housewife tried to stop her, she attacked her and then tried to lock her children up and take them hostage….the housewife phoned her husband, who rushed home and managed to overpower the maid, who was arrested.” (Emirates 24/7)
