Charith Senanayake named Manager of Sri Lanka team

Former Test cricketer Charith Senanayake has been appointed as the new Manager of the Sri Lanka cricket team replacing Anura Tennakoon, for the upcoming Tri-series in Australia.

Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage approved the appointment today evening, SLC Chairman Upali Darmadasa told Ada Derana.

Charith Panduka Senanayake who played 3 Tests and 7 ODIs for Sri Lanka from 1990 to 1991 had also served as Sales Manager of Sri Lanka Cricket.
