Mervyn vows to fulfill duties without discrediting President

Minister of Public Relations and Public Affairs, Mervin Silva says he is presently following a “peaceful procedure” by respecting Buddhism and accomplishing the duties entrusted to him by the President.

Addressing the gathering during a function held today (28) in accordance with the relocating of the Public Relations and Public Affairs Ministry to Bambalapitiya, the outspoken Minister stated that ongoing protests are based entirely on anger and hatred and that they are devoid of any determination.

 Silva further expressed that he would fulfill the duties entrusted to him in a manner that will not tarnish the image of President Rajapaksa.
