Elections Dep. cancels registration of three parties

The Elections Department has cancelled the registration of the People’s Front of Liberation Tigers (PFLT), the Eelam National Democratic Liberation Front (ENDLF) and the National Unity Alliance (NUA).

 

A statement released by the Elections Department revealed that the three aforementioned parties failed to hand over the relevant documents in time to be registered as political parties.
