Tamil group to protest in Toongabbie tomorrow

A Tamil group is planning to protest a visit by the Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to Australia former admiral Thisara Samarasinghe. The High Commissioner will be visiting the Christian Congregation Australia Church tomorrow, Saturday, February 4, Australian media reports.

 

The Sydney Tamil Events organisation has sent out emails inviting Tamils to the protest this afternoon.

 

The demonstration is planned to start from 5pm on the corner of Metella Road and Octavia Street, Toongabbie.
