Body found hanging at empty property in Wattala

The body of a man was found hanging from a tree in a bare property in Wattala this morning (May 16), police stated.
The body was found by the Wattala police in a property near a prominent international school in the area at around 7.40am this morning.
The victim was a resident of the Kadirana area in Mattakkuliya.
Police stated that investigations are being conducted into the incident while revealing that initial investigations had shown that the death was connected to an extra-marital affair that the man had been engaged in.
