The Cabinet has decided to allow the transportation of sand at any time by removing the earlier restriction limiting sand transportation to between 6am and 6pm, the Government Information Department stated.
The Minister of Environment told Parliament last week that transporting sand without a permit would only allowed between 6am and 6pm effective from May 10.
