A suspect arrested by Welikanda Police for possession of illegal narcotics has died in police custody today (20), police spokesman SP Ajith Rohana said.
Police believe the suspect may have suffered a heart attack.
Ajith Rohana further stated that Welikanda Police is conducting investigations into the death.
