One person was killed and two others injured following an accident during a motor racing event at Owitiyawatta in Negombo today.
The injured were rushed to Negombo Hospital, police said.
While the racing event was held at Owitiyawatta in Kochchikade the entire day, the accident had occurred during an attempt to remove a jeep from the race track.
