Two persons were killed after a train collided with backhoe loader at an unguarded railway crossing in Gintota, Galle.
The train, traveling from Matara to Kandy, had collided with the vehicle at around 3.30 pm today (14), Railway Control Room said.
The accident had temporarily disrupted train services on the coastal railway line, however the situation has now been returned to normal, it added.
