Woman’s burnt body found inside Kovil

The charred remains of a woman, believed to be 22 years of age.

The burnt body of a young female was found inside a building belonging to a Kovil in Palameenmadu, Batticaloa today morning. The body is believed to be that of a 22-year-old female, police said.

Batticaloa Police is conducting further investigations.
