The government doctors of hospitals in the Northern Province have decided to call off their scheduled strike action tomorrow (July 30).

However, steps have now been taken to transfer the Directress from the Jaffna Gneral Hospital wffwctive immediately, said Dr. Navin De Soyza, central committee member of the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA).

Therefore the GMOA has decided to call off the strike action scheduled for tomorrow in government hospitals in the North.
