Person stabbed to death in Padiyatalawa

A person was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon on the Unagasella Road in Padiyatalawa, police stated while one suspect has been apprehended in connection with the murder.
The victim was 52 years old and was allegedly engaged in an affair with a woman over whom the murder had taken place, police reported. One suspect was arrested along with the knife which had been used to murder the victim.
The Pudiyatalawa police are conducting further investigations.
