The University Grants Commission (UGC) has agreed to submit the final and rectified Z score report to the Supreme Court on September 3.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) earlier informed the Supreme Court that university admissions will not be finalized until the solution to the A/L examination z-score issue is provided.

A Fundamental Rights petition filed by a group of 33 students was taken up before a three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake.

Attorney representing the respondents stated that solution procedures for the z-score issue are currently being prepared.
