New Zealand scored 174/7 in 20 overs against Sri Lanka in the first super 8 match of the ICC T20 World Cup played at the Pallekele stadium.

Rob Nicol top scored for the Kiwis with 58 off 40 balls while Nuwan Kulasekera and Akila Dananjaya picked up two wickets each for the Lankans.
