Water cut in several parts of Colombo

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that the water supply to several parts of Colombo will be suspended today and tomorrow.

Water supply to Grandpass, Mahawatta, Thotalaga, Aluth Mawatha, Kotahena, Mattakkuliya, Leyards Broadway, Madampitiya and Modara will be suspended for 18 hours from 9.00am today to 3.00am tomorrow.

Meanwhile a 12-hour water cut from 8.00pm today to 8.00am tomorrow is to be imposed in a section of Panchikawatta Road, Sri Sumanatissa Mawatha from Elphinstone Theatre Junction to Jethawana Road Junction, Sangaraja Mawatha and connected byroads, Maligawatta Road, Maligawatta Housing Complex, Akbar Lane, Old Moor Street , Maha Vidyala Mawatha and Oilman Street.

In addition to this water supply to Galle Road from Glen Aber Place to Colpetty Junction and all byroads in between, R.A. De Mel Mawatha from Bambalapitiya Junction to Colpetty Junction as well as the South Asia Gateway Terminal at the Colombo Port will be suspended for 12 hours from 8.00pm today.
