Murdered man found inside vehicle on Marine Drive

A body was discovered inside a parked car on Marine Drive in Bambalapitiya today (November 18), police said adding that the man was found with his throat slashed.
Bambalapitiya police stated that a team of officers was dispatched to the scene to conduct investigations.
Meanwhile a body of an elderly person, who had died under mysterious circumstances, has been found in the ground floor of a building in Gangodawila, Mirihana.
The deceased has been identified as an 80-year-old from Piliyandala.
Mirihana Police is handling investigations.
