Tribute to Vijaya Kumaratunga...

Minister Gayantha Karunathilaka says Vijaya Kumarathunga was a person who always honoured the policies he respected. Therefore, his politics is exemplary to all.

Minister Gayantha Karunathilaka made these remarks at the 70th birth anniversary celebrations of the veteran actor organized by the Vijaya Kumarathunga memorial fan club.

A collection of songs sung by Vijaya Kumarathunga was presented to the Minister. Director General of the SLBC Erananda Hettiarachchi Media Secretary to the Minister Budhiahsa Madushanka Abeygunawardana, Singer Sanjeewani Weerasinghe, Film Director Padmasiri Kodikara, Actor Keetus Mendis,and many veteran artists were present at this occasion.
