VIDEO: Dambulla MC member involved in fatal crash surrenders

UPFA Dambulla Municipal Council member, Dinesh Rajapaksa has surrendered to Matale Police after the vehicle driven by him was involved in an accident, which resulted in the death of a 22-year-old youth last night.

The politician was traveling from Palapathwala to Matale when his SUV collided with a motorcycle at around 7.00pm yesterday killing the youth riding it instantly, Ada Derana reporter said.

The UPFA Municipal Councilor had surrendered to police immediately after the incident and is scheduled to be produced at the Matale magistrate’s Court today.
