Nadeeka Lakmali sets new national javelin throw record

Sri Lankan athlete Nadeeka Lakmali has set a new Sri Lankan record in the Javelin throw event with a distance of 60.64m, at the 20thAsian Athletics Championships being held in Pune, India. She broke her own national record which previously stood at 60.16m.
