UPDATE: Maradana one-way traffic plan from tomorrow

One-way traffic plan will commence from 6am tomorrow from Maradana Junction – Technical Junction – Sangaraja Mawatha  Junction and back to Maradana Junction, Police said.

 

Vehicles traveling towards Pettah from Maligawatta Road and Armour Street should enter Panchikawatta Road from Sangaraja Mawatha, turn right from near Elphinstone Theatre and then turn right from Technical Junction.

 

Vehicles traveling towards Maligawatta Road and Armour Street from Gamini Roundabout and Punchi Borella should head strait to Technical Junction and turn right through Sangaraja Mawatha.

 

Motorists traveling towards Gamini Roundabout or Borella from Pettah and Court Complex should travel strait to Sangaraja Roundabout and from there reach Maradana Bridge through Panchikawatta Road.

 

Vehicles will be allowed to reach Court Road from Technical Junction and Gamini Roundabout passing bridge junction while vehicles from Maligawatta Road will not be allowed to turn towards Armout Street passing Sangaraja Mawatha.
