(Happiness and Freedom) is the perfect theme for the UPFA at the upcoming
election, UNP MP Harin Fernando stated today (September 6).
The MP charged that
those who killed innocent civilians in Rathupaswala were living in happiness
and freedom as well as those who killed a youth named Anthony in a previous
incident.
Fernando stated this
while speaking at the 67th anniversary of the UNP held at Sirikotha.
He expressed that
members of the UNP should stop attacking the party with their own words and
claimed that there were still all sorts of animals who jump from party to party
within the UNP.
MP Fernando claimed
that when one person leaves the party, there are ten others who are ready to
join and that the day the Elephant removes the Satakaya is not far ahead.
He explained that the
UNP leader was not hands-on person but he is sensitive to the needs of the
people.
The UNP MP stated
that if his leader is given a table and chair he would fulfill his duty
perfectly while he is willing to do the hands-on work on behalf of the leader.
He added that this
was the age for big-talkers and actors but that his leader was none of that.
