One dead after old boys clash at big match in Jaffna

A 23-year-old youth died following a clash involving old boys at the big match between St. Patrick’s College, Jaffna and the Jaffna College in Vaddukoddai today, police said.

The victim, a former pupil of St. Patrick’s College and a father of one, died from injuries sustained in the clash which occurred during the annual cricket encounter played at Jaffna College Bicknell Ground.
